This seems to me like it's the authors first attempt. There's not enough emotion, it's almost like reading a manual of some sort. It tends to be monotonous in places. They aren't showing much emotion, they just think it. The world building is subpar, I am having a difficult time deciding to quit reading now, or continuing. I paid for the whole series, and I'm not a quitter, so i'll keep going. I hope it gets more lively and emotional.Product details

Good series. Better editing than most the e-books I read.
This was a different take on vampires. I have only red a few books talking about half blood vampires. But this one has them mixed with other supernaturals.
Good good but it was kind of slow at points. Hope the next book has a faster pace and action

Even though I haven't read book one I really loved this book. I'm definitely grabbing book 1 and book 3 when it comes out. I can't wait to see if Anissa and Jonah stay together and if Fane and Jonah find Gage and give Luicen what he deserves for all he's done to their family.
